CSK Vs RCB 18/05/2013 - Results and Statistical Highlights
This was a must win game for the Royal Challengers Bangalore as Sunrisers Hyderabad had overtaken them in the points table. The equation was simple if they lost they would not make it to the playoffs. Lets now take a closer look at the Batting and Bowling Performance Reviews along with the results of the match that took place on 18/05/2013.
RCB Batting
When the Royal Challengers Bangalore came into bat it was Virat Kohli and Chris Gayle who came into bat. Since it was just an 8 Overs match they had to go all out and did so in style with Virat Kohli leading from the front as he was the best highlights of their innings as he ended with a score of 56 Runs.
CSK Bowling
I really have nothing much to say about the Chennai Super Kings bowling as it was just 8 Overs they needed to bowl, they did give away a lot of Runs which ended up with a target being a very stiff one for them to achieve.
CSK Batting
When the Chennai Super Kings came into bat they were looking to chase down a very stiff target. They started off slowly with only 8 Runs from the first over. They lost a couple of wickets in the first over by Zaheer Khan which immediately put them in the back foot. The runs they had to get were too many which ended with them on the losing side, this now gives another life to the Royal Challengers Bangalore to make it to the playoffs, that is if Sunrisers Hyderabad loses tomorrow.
RCB Bowling
Royal Challengers Bangalore bowling was spot on as they picked up quick wickets and were quite economical throughout as they never gave easy runs to the Chennai Super Kings. All their bowlers were economical as they contributed towards a victory.
