Sonic: Lost World Release date and a few other details

Nintendo and Sega have confirmed that the upcoming Action-Adventure, 3D-Platforming Video game will be released on October 22nd 2013 for the WII U and Nintendo 3DS.  Apart from the Sonic: Lost world Release date, Takashi Izuka (Team Head) has also revealed in an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine UK that the upcoming game will have quite a few similarities to Super Mario and Galaxy Series. 

The objective of the game will involve the main character pursuing the antagonist Doctor Eggman as he travel across to a place known as Hex.

As far as the gameplay is concerned, the levels within the game will range from side scrolling 2D to fast moving 3D.

The best part about the upcoming platformer is that the 3DS version will not just be a port of the WII Version, the level design will be entirely different.  With the release date being three months away, gamers can expect the revelation of a few more details regarding the game in the near future.

Halo 4 Champions Bundle DLC Release date announced

Fans of the Microsoft Xbox exclusive first-person shooter video game will be excited to know that the company  has announced the release date of the upcoming champions Bundle DLC  as August 20th 2013.

Apart from with the Halo 4 Champions Bundle DLC Release date, the company also made a revelation that the downloadable content will be priced at 800 Microsoft points and will add the following packs.

• Steel Skin Pack
• Bullseye Pack
• Infinity Armour Pack

Those who purchase all the three packs will add bonus content for more than 18 new in game items.The three packs will also be available for purchase separately and will add the following features.

Bullseye - Two New Multiplayer maps, Sports-themed spartan Armour and a new game type called Riochet for 480 MS points.

Infinity - New legendary Spartan Armour

Steel Skin will add UNSC, Covenant and forerunner weapons.

Infinity and Steel Skin will be available for purchase for 240 Ms Points each, based on what you have purchased, you can download the packs via Xbox Live itself.

Gran Turismo 6 demo download now available

PlayStation 3 owners will be happy to know that the demo download of the sixth installment of the sim racing video game series "Gran Turismo" is now up for grabs via the PlayStation Store. The file size of the Gran Turismo 6 demo download that is around 1.1 GB features Uk's Silverstone race track and allows players to drive a Nissan 370Z for five time trial events, four different tracks and one full lap of silverstone.

Prior to entering the time trials, the players would require to complete a tutorial and four warm up races in their 370Z and the Nissan LEAF.  The release also features the beginning of the 5th season of Sony's GT Academy competition which will give players a wonderful opportunity to compete in real life driving events.  

To enter the competition, players will require to post their best silverstone lap time within the game's leaderboards, however bear in mind that the competition will take place only until 23:59 BST on July 28th and is available only for players around Europe, US and Russia.

If you are a huge fan of the series and are looking to grab the demonstration, Do it as soon as you can as the Gran Turismo 6 Demo download will be available only until August 31st.  The release date of the full version of the game for PlayStation 3 is set to be sometime during late 2013.

Mario Golf World Tour - Release date, Characters and Trailer

Mario Golf World Tour Release date has been postponed until next year as per Polygon.  The Arcade simulation Video game which was previously expected to be revealed at E3 2013 Event will now be released sometime in 2014 unlike the previous announcement that claimed that the game's release date would be during summer of 2013.  Apart from the Mario Golf Release date, the gameplay, Characters and trailer have also been unveiled.  Lets now take a closer look at what you can expect from one of the most anticipated Nintendo 3DS game of the franchise.

Characters and Gameplay

Ardent fans of the franchise who have played the previous installments will get to see similar super heroes within the game such as

• Luigi
• Donkey Kong
• Wario
• Waluigi
• Bowser

The gameplay of world tour will revolve around the basics of golf where a player will aim to hit the ball in the targeted hole with lowest possible strokes.  Knowing how the franchise has been over the years, world tour will have an arcade touch to it but the controls will be fast paced and the environments will be something that the gamers have previously seen.  The game will include both single as well as multiplayer modes.

Injustice Mortal Kombat DLC Announced

Warner bros, the publishers of the fighting video game based upon the fictional universe of DC comics have confirmed the launch of their upcoming downloadable content which will be the Injustice Mortal Kombat DLC. 

It has also been confirmed that NetherRealm, the developers of the game have employed Jim Lee (Comic Artist) to help create an interpretation of the Scorpion character for their upcoming downloadable content.

Currently, no release date has been confirmed for the upcoming launch but from what has been confirmed that the DLC is expected to be priced at $4.99 on the PlayStation Network and 400 Microsoft points on Xbox 360.

The Scorpion character which will be the feature of the upcoming downloadable content will be a resurrected Ninja who has appeared in almost all the Mortal Kombat Games.

The Fighting game had released for Xbox 360, WII  and PlayStation 3 on April 17 in North America and has been receiving mixed reviews ever since.

The Last of Us Season Pass Details Unveiled

The SP details of the upcoming  action-adventure, survival horror video game developed by Naughty Dog have been announced.  The game  that has a release date set as June 14 2013 will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive in which players will take a role of the main character Joel, as he alongside Ellie fights his way through the apocalyptic aftermath caused by cordyceps-type fungus.  Read on for the complete last of Us Season pass Details along with the pricing information.

The developer has confirmed that the game will receive Single-Player as well multiplayer downloadable content post launch and will be available either as an individual pack or a discounted season pass (which is expected to be priced at $19.99.)

• 9mm pistol reload speed upgrade
• rifle clip capacity upgrade
• 90 Minutes of making-of documentary.

Full Xbox one Features

If you are a gamer and were looking forward for something new this season then you must have surely heard about the event on 21/05/2013 where Microsoft revealed the official details about their upcoming console.  While there are quite a few features which are impressive others don't look to be too impressive, with that being said lets now take a closer look at the Full Xbox one features you can expect from the upcoming creation by Microsoft.

Full Xbox One Features

Being a 360 owner myself, i never liked the idea of having to pay for a monthly subscription for using common features within the consoles such as Watching a video on YouTube, using the internet etc.  The upcoming console takes things a step further.  Don't believe me? Read on

 So, How does this affect Gaming?

Being a Gaming console, Xbox One is expected to be a treat for Video Game lovers but Microsoft have confirmed that the console will be region locked, which means no gamers would be able to play any title that has been purchased from a different location.  Basically, The game's software needs to match console's hardware region to play.

However one of the best Xbox features is the 8 Core CPU along with 8GB system memory, which will more than enough for hardcore gamers to have tears rolling down their eyes as they look at the pleasing eye Candy they get out of the console.

Internet Connection required every 24 Hours, Really?

The rumors look to be almost true, earlier it was reported that the upcoming next gen console will require a permanent internet connection but reports are now emerging  that the gamers would require to be online every 24 hours to have an uninterrupted experience.

Time to throw old games out

It's obvious Microsoft are looking forward, hence there is no backwards compatibility in Xbox one.  While this might be disappointing for many the feature is actually not that bad as long as the new games turn out to be cheap and the console performs as it's promised.  

On a positive note, your gamertag and gamerscore will carry forward.

Applications

One of the best features of Xbox one is the flexibility of using the applications, Switching between the application will finally be lag free even if you are between a game.  You will be able to switch between watching live television, Listen to Music or anything you would like to do through a few voice commands.

Kinect 2.0 

The console will come with an all new Kinect Sensor that supports 1080p video at 30 frames per seconds.  Skype Calls, Video will now have a capability to be captured at 60 frames per second.  It is also expected to work in a dark place and has a capability of detecting your heartbeat, rotations in the wrist or shoulder.  While all the features are good, whats not good is that Kinect 2.0 needs to be connected all the time for gaming not to be interrupted.

Release date

After revealing a lot of Xbox One features Microsoft didn't announce the release date of this anticipated console but from what is believed it must be up for grabs later this year,  It will now be interesting to see when they finally decide to announce the official release date.

With so many new features, Xbox one is all set to unleash a whole new era of gaming along with a lot of flexibility which is expected to take gaming to the next level.

Super Luigi U Release date Revealed

Super Luigi U Release date has been revealed by Nintendo.  The company has confirmed that the downloadable content of this Side-Scrolling Platform Video Game within the Mario franchise will be launching in America on August 25.

This will be a standalone version which means the players will not need Mario Bros to play the upcoming game,  the title is expected to be priced at $30.  The game will be up for grabs on June 20 for 20$ for those who own a copy of Nintendo's last launch Mario Bros.  

The News came through via the latest Nintendo Direct where Santoru Iwata (Nintendo President) revealed a new gameplay trailer.  He also confirmed that Nabbit a creature from the previous title will also be a part of the game.

Just a day before the announcement of the release date Nintendo had revealed that their previous title Mario Bros U had sold approximately 770,000 units in the United states alone.

Mario 3D release date in October?

Mario 3D Release date for the WII U Console is expected to be sometime in October 2013 confirmed CVG (Based on the discussion with executive level retail representatives) No other details regarding the other features that can be expected from this popular platform game are revealed yet.

The 3D Platformer was already announced by the Nintendo President (Satoru Iwata) in January.The players will get an idea of the gameplay during the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo where the game will be playable between June 11-13.The event will be held at Los Angeles,California.

Mario 3D  is another effort by Nintendo to try and boost sales of WII U as the franchise has done well for them in the past.The good news for those who own the device is that there are quite a few other games set for Launch as well such as Pikmin 3,The Legend of Zelda,Wind Waker HD and the Wonderful 101.

Nintendo's WII U Console has not done very well in the market so far which might be a blessing in disguise for the gamers around as this might prompt the developers to produce more compelling games as the company will really need to step up if they need to compete with the upcoming next gen devices.

I know what i am about to say now might be a long shot or might not be possible but it would have been nice to see the Mario franchise launch on the other consoles as well.I am aware every system has its own unique franchise which ends up releasing as an exclusive to a particular console but at the end of the day there are very few gamers who can possibly get a hand on all available gaming devices in the market.

Well,that's just my thought.I know things will remain how they are and we as gamers will need to end up buying a different device if we really need to play a franchise exclusive.Whats your take on this?

Grand Theft Auto 5 New Trailer release date Revealed

Grand Theft Auto 5 New Trailer release date has been revealed.Rockstar games have confirmed that the new trailer will make its way on April 30th at 11 AM.The company introduced the main characters of the game through a trio of video snippets.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will be first title of the franchise that will feature multiple playable protagonists for its main Storyline.The title will also allow players to switch between them at any time.The three protagonists will sometimes play together.

Michael,Trevor and Franklin (Three protagonists) have a different personality,skill set and  friends.Depending on the character a player chooses to play with the others will do something else on their own.

Till now only gameplay videos of the Grand theft Auto 5 have been released and the expected release date of the game is september  17th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.WII U and PC Version of the game have not yet been announced.

Recently there was a petition by the gamers around the world requesting the 5th game of the Grand theft seires to be made for PC and WII as well which the company are currently considering.It would be interesting to see what we can expect of the new trailer of the game which is one of the most anticipated by the players around the world.One question still remains is if there are chances of this releasing on the next gen consoles.

Xbox 720 Details to be Unveiled on 21/05/2013

Microsoft has confirmed that more details about the upcoming Next Gen Console 'Xbox 720' will be revealed on 21/05/2013.They further said that there will be a press event at the company's headquarters in Redmond,Washington which will gave the people a taste of the future.Read on for what more can be expected from the Press event scheduled to take place next month.

Other Revelations expected at the Press meet

Microsoft has claimed that on May 21st they will mark a new beginning of the new generation of games,TV and entertainment.

A source had earlier told to the Game Informer magazine that Microsoft will release official details about the console in its head quarters in Washington around the same time in may.This news now seems to be legitimate.

It is also being said that the event will be streamed live at Xbox.com,Xbox Live and Spike TV in United states and Canada.The following are expected to be revealed at the Press meet on 21/05/2013

Gears of War: Judgement 'Call to Arms DLC'  Release date Revealed

Microsoft and Epic Games have announced the release date of the new DLC for Gears of War: Judgement.The new downloadable expansion will be called as 'Call to Arms'.This second expansion will add three new multiplayer maps and a new game mode.The release date of the Gears of War: Judgement 'Call to Arms' DLC will be April 23 for VIP Season pass holders and will be available worldwide on April 30.

The downloadable content will be available as a free download to those who own a VIP season pass and will be priced at 1,000 Microsoft Points or $12.50 as an individual download.The season pass holders had also received a permanent Multiplayer Double XP earlier.The New maps included will be

• Terminal
• Blood Drive
• Boneyard

The new game mode that will be included in the new expansion  will be called as Master at Arms and the expansion will also add 10 new achievements worth a score of 250 gamerpoints.The mode challenges players to get kills with each of the 20 different weapons using a melee technique or grenade.Each kill will help players to advance towards achieving the next available weapon until they have finished using each.

The Plot of the call to arms DLC looks very promising,it will be interesting to see how good it is when it finally releases.The game has been getting mixed reviews because of the absence of its main Character 'Marcus Phoenix',so are you planning to get this on the date it releases or you will give it a pass?

Mario & Luigi: Dream team release date Unveiled

Mario and Luigi Dream team release date has been confirmed by Nintendo.The Role playing game is set to make its way in North America in August 2013 which will be a month after the European and Japanese launch.

Nintento CEO Satoru Iwata has also confirmed that the title would be released in North America on August 11.

The game will be released in Europe and Japan on July 12th and 18th respectively.

The video game will also be available through the 3DS E Shop.

The title just like the other games in the series will have Mario as the main protagonist who will be accompanied by more playable characters.

The title is one of the most anticipated one among the nintendo gamers as the last title that was released did really well in the market.It will be interesting to see how the title shapes up considering the advancement in technologies since the last release.

Xbox Live Outage a cause of concern for next gen console?

If you own an Xbox 360 console and tried logging into the Xbox Live on Saturday you might have seen a variety of errors appearing on the screen.Some errors stated that Live service could not connect due to which even the console edition of Minecraft was not available.

Microsoft however have gone on to claim that the error's experienced are not because of an online hack but due to a scheduled maintenance.

A statement released by Microsoft yesterday Via Twitter claimed that they were aware of the issues experienced by the players while sending or receiving game invites and seeing friends statuses.They further said a team was currently working on the issue.

It was recently revealed that the next generation  console by Microsoft will require an always online internet connection for accessing and playing games.This problem now might leave those who are actually planning to buy the next gen Xbox console think twice before going ahead with the purchase.

Xbox 720 Price details revealed?

Microsoft's upcoming console continues to make news.The latest about their upcoming next generation console is that Paul Thurott (Noted Windows Blogger) has made claims about the release date as well as the price details during the latest 'What The Tech' episode through NeoGAF.If the claims are to be believed then the release date and price details might be true.

The Standard model will cost around $500 and a subscription model around $300 and will launch in november confirmed Thurott.

Thurott also confessed that the Microsoft's upcoming console will be expensive.He also further said that Xbox 720 will not be the only one to release this season as Microsoft is also planning a 99$ Stingray Xbox 360.

He also confirmed the earlier news that claimed that the console would require a permanent internet connection saying that it must be internet connected to use.He further claimed that the news regarding the proper release date and other information will be revealed at an event on May 21.

It will be interesting to see when and where Microsoft reveals more about their upcoming console as there seems to be more mystery surrounding it.Earlier it was confirmed that the news about the release date and other official details will be out in April but that didn't seem to happen,so hopefully May 21st we will get more information on this.

Xbox 720 will need a permanent/Active Internet Connection to load games/Applications

Xbox 720 release date announcement might just be around the corner but there is something that might not go well with those who are anticipating the release of this upcoming console by Microsoft.A recent report is suggesting that that the Xbox 720 will need a permanent Internet connection to run games and applications without any interruption.A source while speaking to Kotaku confirmed that if there is an interruption the game or the application that is running gets suspended.

The report further claims that until something has changed significantly the console will require the permanent/active internet to be turned on at all times.After doing a bit of analysis it has been confirmed that if there is an interruption for approximately 3 minutes the Game or the apps running do not work and a network troubleshooter opens up within the console.

The news had come in earlier as well but it looked like a rumor because until today there has not been a console that has required an active internet connection to load games or application.

This will not go down with the players who might be saving up to buy the console as this might add an additional burden to them as they will need to bare an additional cost.

God of War Ascension 1.04 Update includes additional Levels

The Multiplayer mode of the third person Action Adventure video game 'God of War Ascension' is expected to include additional levels.Santa Monica Studios (Developer) have confirmed the details of the 1.04 update of the game on the PlayStation Blog.The God of War Ascension 1.04 update will introduce elite levels which will increase the level cap from 30 to 40,this will help players who have completed or are close to completing the game achieve a bit more from the game.

Other features included in the 1.04 patch will add 10 additional levels,items,Relics and magical abilities.Sony also confirmed at their blog that the feature was included for the players who have reached the highest levels within the game and for those who are close.

The other information about the 1.04 update will be revealed in the future,confirmed Sony.The other features that will be included is the Champion Stats which will allow players to access to their accomplishments along with the kill death ratio and win percentages within the menu.

The bugs and other issues are also expected to be fixed in the upcoming 1.04 update.The issues expected to be fixed are Audio drop issues,Shared issue that prevented players from getting a hold of the Spear of Destiny in Barbarian Hammer.

The Patch will also optimize matchmaking to allow players to connect to the matches quickly and there will also be other notable improvements.

Its nice to see Sony updating their PS3 exclusive God Of War Ascension to a patch that addresses a number of problems which hinders a players experience.Thats probably one of the reasons why the series is a massive hit among all console games.

Uncharted 3 Animal themed DLC release date sometime during this month

The multiplayer mode of the third game of the series named Drake's deception will now receive a new themed Downloadable content this month.The Uncharted 3 animal themed DLC proceeds will be sent to charity to help prevent the cruelty to animals.

This month,all the players of this free to play shooter will be able to buy T-Shirts,weapon skins which will feature Pogo and Trumpet (The pets of studio co presidents Evan wells and Christophe Balestra).Naughty Dog also plans to release other part of the Themed content sometime during this month which is expected to include premium masks including

• T-Rex
• Shark 
• Panda

The tournament reward will feature

• Raptor mask
• Mr Croc t-shirt
• Crocodile print weapon camo.

This is the first time i am seeing such an initiative taken by a gaming company.This is definitely a welcome one considering people of all ages from young to adult love gaming.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 'Uprising' DLC release date announced?

The first person shooter superhit video game is coming back with the second downloadable content expansion which will be called as uprising.The Call of Duty Black ops 2 Uprising DLC release date is expected to be on April 16th as per the claims made by a twitter user.

The news was confirmed through Joystiq who claimed that a twitter user supposedly posted a best buy marketing material which confirms the release of the downloadable content

According to what has been posted via twitter,The upcoming downloadable content will add four new maps which will be named Vertigo,Encore,Magma and Studio and will also include a zombie mode which will be called mob of the dead.

If the news turns out to be true this will be a DLC that will follow Revolution which was released earlier and containted four multiplayer maps and a zombie mode.No official confirmation by the company has been made regarding the claims.

Injustice: Gods among us free demo release date announced

The release date of the demo of the fighting game that is based upon the fictional characters of DC Comics has been announced.The Injustice: Gods among us free demo release date has been confirmed as April 4th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console and will feature Batman,Wonder Woman,Lex Luther in the arena which will be based in Gotham city.

The demo will be available as a free download through the Xbox Live marketplace and PlayStation Network for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles respectively.I have got s sneaky feeling that a few games such as these will be announced for the next gen consoles as well.

The game which is set to hit the shelves in North America on April 16th will also feature Black Adam as an ingame character The game will be making its way for the Xbox 360,PlayStation 3 and WII U consoles.

The makers of the title are the one who were behind the making of the popular fighter 'Mortal Combat' and if this title gets any close to the legacy of Mortal Combat we can expect this to be a treat.
