This was an important match mostly for the Sunrisers Hyderabad as they needed a victory if the needed to make it to the top four. Apart from them and the Mumbai Indians, this match was also very important for the Royal Challengers Bangalore as they were stuck at the fourth spot for a long time and were in danger of vanishing deep below. SRH Batting
When the Sunrisers Hyderabad came into bat they looked intense and it clearly looked as though they were desperate for a victory. Parthiv Patel Played superbly during the start of their innings alongside Shikar Dhiwan. Cameron White gave a very good finishing to their innings as they set a stiff target of 178 for the Mumbai Indians to chase down at their home ground.
MI Bowling
The Mumbai Indians bowling attack which looked threatening throughout the tournament was out of sorts today as most of their bowlers didn't seem to find any rhythm whatsoever. Their fielding also looked well below par. The highlights of their bowling was Lasith Malinga who picked up a couple of wickets.
MI Batting
Mumbai Indians started off strongly and looked to always be in the hunt but the Sunrisers Hyderabad were back in the game as soon as Sachin Tendulkar was injured and Dinesh Karthik's wicket fell. After that the Men in Blue didn't seem to find any momentum until Keiron Pollard came into the crease. He ended up being the best highlights of their innings as he made a score of 66 Runs from 27 Balls to single-Handedly win the match for his team.
SRH Bowling
Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling was good initially but lost all their steam when Kieron Pollard came to the crease. He tore their bowling apart to win the match comfortably for his team.The only highlights of their bowling was Dale Steyn who bowled superbly.
