SRH Vs RR 17/05/2013 Results and Statistical Highlights
Rajasthan Royals were eying to be one of the top two teams heading into the playoffs because of which this win was very important for them but it wasn't going to be easy as they were playing outside their home turf. Lets now take a closer look at the Batting and Bowling performance reviews of each team.
SRH Batting
When the Sunrisers Hyderabad came into bat they lost three wickets for just 5 runs and looked to be in a lot of trouble but a good partnership between Biplab Samantray and Hamuna Vihara brought them back into the match on a pitch which was very slow and a few balls were keeping low. The Highlights of their batting was Samantray who made 55 Runs to help them towards a total of 136. Thisara Perera tried to make a lot of runs towards the end but failed to really hit the ball out of the park.
RR Bowling
Rajasthan Royals Bowling was good throughout as the pitch was of great assistance to them. All their bowlers performed well but they were well below Par during their fielding. The best highlights of their bowling was James Faulkner who once again picked up 5 Wickets.
RR Batting
When the Rajasthan Royals came in to bat they started off steadily with Rahul Dravid and Ajinkya Rahane once again with their partnership laying a good foundation for the remaining batsman but the pitch was not that easy to bat one as they kept losing wickets regularly. Shane Watson also couldn't help their cause much today as they ended up on the losing side.
SRH Bowling
Sunrisers Hyderabad were aware of the conditions as they were playing at their home ground and as expected they bowled superbly as they picked up wickets at regular intervals and never allowed the Men in Blue to get away that easy towards the target and won the match comfortably with almost all their bowlers chipping in.
