WWE Smackdown 10/05/2013 - Results,Review and Analysis

WWE Smackdown 10/05/2013 was held at PNC Arena in Raleigh,N.C .The major Storylines moved forward as we get closer to the Extreme Rules Pay Per View,Ryback was once again being focused more as a heel throughout the show.Read on for the complete Results,Review and Analysis of the episode that airs on Friday Night (Tapes on Tuesday night).

WWE Smackdown 10/05/2013 - Results,Review and Analysis

The show kicked off with Chris Jericho's famous "Highlight Reel" which featured Ryback.Teddy Long ended up interrupting Jericho's show and announced a match between Y2J and Ryback for later on.

Kofi Kingston Vs Cody Rhodes  

The first match to take place at the Friday Night Smackdown episode was Kofi Kingston against Cody Rhodes.A disaster kick by Rhodes was reversed by Kofi with a Trouble in paradise,this ended the match in his favor despite both the wrestlers having their moments throughout.

A recap of Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman's antics at the WWE headquarters was then shown.

Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter's interview

A backstage segment showed Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter being interviewed.Colter gave his views about the match between Swagger and Big E Langston which was scheduled to take place by saying "It will be a real American Vs affirmative action" and he further added "Yeah,I Said it."

Jack Swagger Vs Big E Langston

This was a no DQ match which featured Alberto Del Rio on Commentary.The match saw a lot of props being used especially ladders by Swagger and Langston.The end of the match saw Alberto Del Rio holding the belt as he stood on top of the ladder.

Dean Ambrose Vs Daniel Bryan

This was probably the longest match of the night.Just as Bryan applied the yes lock,Rollins tried to make his way to save his partner but was stopped by Kane.Reigns ended up kicking Bryan anyway.This led to Kofi coming out to attack Ambrose as the bout ended in a disqualification.

Mark Henry's record of Pulling a tractor trailer truck

Mark henry attempted to break the world record by pulling a tractor trailer truck and did it comfortably.He managed to pull two which is said to be a world record.The segment saw a lot of cheers for Mark Henry.

Big Show Vs Tensai

A very short match which ended as expected with Big Show dominating.Big Show knocked out Tensai and speared Clay after which Randy Orton came out and RKO'd show to give fan their money's worth.

Kaitlyn's secret Admirer Mystery Continues....

The next segment showed Kaitlyn backstage with Natalya trying to figure out who her admirer was.Meanwhile a funny segment showed The Great Khali wearing the Mask of Rey Mysterio to remain undercover as he investigated the same.

Chris Jericho Vs Ryback 

The main Event  of the Friday night supershow (10/05/2013) featured two of the main superstars Ryback and Chris Jericho facing off against each other.A part of the match saw Jericho reversing the Shellshock into a walls of jericho after which he managed to plant a codebreaker on Ryback outside the ring.Ryback ended up getting disqualified courtesy a low blow he inflicted on Y2J.It didn't look as though Ryback was bothered about the results as he clothesline Jericho over the announcers table.

Josh Matthews interviewed Mark Henry in the ring and claimed the weight of the tractor trailers to be 55 tons.Henry however confessed he had more to do tonight.
