The Voice 03/06/2013 Recap

Looking back at last weeks episode, Blake Shelton seemed to be the least affected as he still had all his three singers remaining while Usher, Shakira and Adam Levine were left with one contestant each.  On Monday night each singers were given two songs to sing (One selected by themselves and one by the coach).   Lets now take a closer look at the performance reviews of each contestants as it happened on 03/06/2013.
TV

Team Blake

Holly Tucker from Team Blake kicked off the episode with the song "When God-Fearin' Women Get the Blues" by Martina McBride.  She was assigned the song and did justice to it through her great singing.  After watching her perform Usher said "I don't have anything too critical to say, but i did want to see more, I guess."

Adam Levine on the other hand appreciated her performance and was happy to see her evolve week after week.

The song Holly chose to sing at The Voice 03/06/2013 was My Wish by Rascal Flatts and dedicated the song to her parents.  She found it hard to control her breath during the rehearsals but came out as a winner during the actual performance.  Levine claimed her performance to be impressive by saying "You've really shown range and scope." "Consistency has been amazing for you."

The Swon Brothers

Next up for a performance were The Swon Brothers who first chose to sing the song "Wagon Wheel" by Darius Rucker.  The Swon Brothers once again in their own style dominated throughout their performance which got Shakira to say "I think that country music is really crossing over the mainstream, big time, and Latinos like me who weren't interested in country music are interested in it now."

The second song The Swon Brothers were assigned to sing was "Okie from Muskogee." by Merle Haggard which resulted in Usher commenting on their performance as he said "It's great that you're able to have fun and represent where you're from."

Danielle Bradbery

The final contestant to sing from Blake's team at The Voice on 03/06/2013 was Danielle Bradbery.  She was first assigned to sing "Shake the Sugar Tree" by Pam Tills.  Just like everyone else on Monday Night she also didn't disappoint with Levine saying "I think that you're so incredibly talented, and man, every performance has been so solid."

Her song selection for the night was "A little bit stronger" by Sara Evans.  She yet again ended with another solid performance ensuring she remained a strong contender.

Team Usher

Team Usher was left with only Michelle Chamuel which meant there would have been a lot of pressure on her to get through.  The first song she was alloted to sing was "Somewhere only we know" by Keane.  Post her performance Levine once again was quick to comment as he said "Carving out your own spot in the universe--that's the sign of a really great artist."

Michelle then chose to sing the song "I knew you were trouble" by Taylor Swift who was actually rehearsing at a neighboring lot.  Swift thought Chamuel's performance was excellent and the audience seemed to agree as well.  Shelton said "I m so freaking jealous right now, damn it," "When Taylor did it, it was intense, but that was head bangin'!"

Team Shakira

Sasha Allen from Team Shakira decided to first sing "Aint no way" by Aretha Franklin.   Post her performance Adam Levine said "I always knew that you were as good as you were tonight," Levine along with usher claimed this performance by Sasha Allen as the best of the night.

Shakira assigned Sasha a task of singing "Before he cheats." by Carrie Underwood.  Despite a few flaws during her performance she managed to impress one and all with Usher saying "I guess there's more than one Sasha Fierce."

Team Adam

Just like Shakira and Usher, Adam was also left with just one singer in his team in the form of Amber Carrington. The first song she was allotted to sing was "I remember you" by Skid Row.  Shelton looked to most impressed of the lot as he said  "At least Levine brought it back to country, and that was a smart thing on his behalf, and its something that people will want to own, and that's really smart too."

If you ask me who was the best singer at The Voice on 03/06/2013 (3rd June 2013) i would say it has to be Sasha Allen, Despite Shakira having only her left as she has lost all the other contestants i still believe she might win the title eventually.

Amber's choice of song at Voice 03/06/2013 was "Crazy" by Patsy Cline which was once again impressive.  That's it for my recap of the show.  Hope you enjoyed it.
