Improving AdWords Quality Score Reporting

Friday, July 26, 2013

As part of our ongoing efforts to help improve the quality of our ads, we're announcing an update that changes how each keyword’s 1-10 numeric Quality Score is reported in AdWords. Under the hood, this reporting update will tie your 1-10 numeric Quality Score more closely to its three key sub factors -- expected clickthrough rate, ad relevance, and landing page experience. We expect this update to reach all advertisers globally within the next several days.

We're making this change so that the Quality Score in your reports more closely reflects the factors that influence the visibility and expected performance of your ads. We hope that providing you more transparency into your 1-10 Quality Score will help you improve the quality of your ads.

Please note that this is only a change to how a keyword’s 1-10 Quality Score is reported. It does not change how Quality Score is calculated in real-time for each auction, and thus won't have any direct effect on your ad performance. So unless you have automated rules tied directly to your reported 1-10 Quality Score, your ads should continue to behave as they did before.

We believe this improvement will make it easier for you to take specific action to improve your ads and to recognize when your changes are working. Our goal in making this update is to provide you with a better understanding of your Quality Score to help you run a more effective AdWords campaign.

To review the basics of Quality Score, please see our help center article on how to check and understand Quality Score. We also recommend reviewing 10 things you should know about Ads Quality, which addresses frequent questions and common misconceptions on Quality Score and other external factors that influence the performance of your ads.

South Africa Vs Sri Lanka 26/07/2013 - Results and Review

South Africa Vs Sri Lanka 26/07/2013 - Results, Review and Statistical Highlights

The 3rd ODI of the Dialog Cup between South Africa and Sri Lanka held on 26/07/2013 kicked off with SA winning the toss and electing to bat first.  The Proteas needed a win desperately if they needed to remain  in contention of winning the tournament.  SL on the other hand were comfortable with a 2-0 lead before the match and were looking to go all out to try and win the series.  To know more about how the match exactly turned out to be, Read on for the complete South Africa Vs Sri Lanka 26/07/2013 Results along with the batting and bowling performance review, scorecard and Statistical Highlights of the match.

Statistical Highlights

CricketSA's batting was once again shaky as they lost too many wickets too early.  At one stage they were at a score of 100/5 but a partnership between AB De Villiers and David Miller got them right back into the match.  Miller who was the best highlights of their innings was exceptional as he kept on going with his aggression even after the Proteas had lost the wicket of De Villiers.  He contributed a score of 85 of just 72 balls to really push their score to 223/7 in 50 overs.  As far as SL's bowling was concerned Ajantha Mendis and Thisara Perera were exceptional as they picked up 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

Just like the Proteas, The Lankans struggled with their batting and never looked like they were going to threaten the target until Thisara Perera came into bat.  He single-handedly got them right back into the match after he scored 35 runs of just one over of Robin Peterson.  Unfortunately after he got out for a score of 65, SL lost a lot of wickets in a jiffy as their innings ended at a score of 165.  SA's bowling feature was Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Farhan Behardien who picked up 4 and 3 wickets respectively.  Lets now take a closer look at the scorecard of the match.

India Vs Zimbabwe 26/07/2013 - Results and Review

India Vs Zimbabwe 26/07/2013 - Results, Review and Statistical Highlights

The Second ODI of the Celkon Mobile Cup between India and Zimbabwe on 26/07/2013 kicked off with Zim winning the toss and electing to bowl first.  The conditions favored the bowlers early on so it was a good decision by the Zimbabweans.  Read on for the complete India Vs Zimbabwe 26/07/2013 Results along with the batting and bowling performance review, scorecard and Statistical highlights of the match as it happened today.

Statistical Highlights

CricketWhen Ind came into bat they struggled throughout and kept losing regular wickets.  At one stage they were at a score of 65/4 but luckily for them it was the day of Shikar Dhawan who was dropped quite a few times and got a lot of lives.  Dhawan capitalised on all the luck he had today as he made a superb century and his partnership with Dinesh Karthik ensured they got a target which was going to be very tough for Zim to reach.  Dhawan and Karthik were the best highlights of their innings making a score of 116 and 69 respectively.  As far Zim's bowling was concerned Brian Vitori was the pick of their bowlers as he took two wickets and gave away very few runs.

Zim's batting kicked off with a lot of promise as they had positive intent and really went after Ind's bowlers.  The best highlights of their batting were Vusi Simbada and Prosper Utsaya who made a score of 55 and 52 not out but unfortunately that was not enough for them to pull a win in their favor.  As far as Ind's bowling was concerned, Jaydev Unadkat who picked up 4 wickets for 41 was their best highlights.  Lets now take a closer look at the scorecard of the match.

The next segment involved CM Punk coming out to the ring after which he spoke about Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.  Fandango then came out and did his normal dance routine only to receive a GTS in the end after which Punk left the ring.

The 2nd match of the night involved Mark Henry and The Uso's against Wade Barrett and Prime Time Players.  It was Mark Henry who eventually won the match up for his team as he planted the World's strongest slam.

Alberto Del Rio spoke to Vickie Guerrero and asked her to allow him to pick his opponent just like John Cena did.  RVD then joined the conversation after which Rio asked him to prove himself a worthy contender for the title.  RVD claimed that he would that during the night.  Sandow then went backstage looking for his briefcase and spoke to Sin Cara who didn't speak English.

The match between Rob Van Dam and Alberto Del Rio ended with Rio emerging a winner via a kick just as RVD was speaking to a referee.

Sandow who was still looking for his briefcase went to Mark Henry and Booker T.  They acted as though Rhodes was a thief while Sandow was sure that this happened because of Booker T.  AJ was the next to come out to the ring with Big E Langston as she called out Dolph Ziggler.  She claimed that she was the champion and was doing fine and showed Ziggler his house key after which she threw out Zigglers belongings out of the ring.  The segment ended with Kaitlyn hitting a spear on AJ and Dolph planting a fameasser on Langston.

The  match between The Wyatt family and Tons off funk went in favor of the Wyatt's.

Sandow went to complain to Vickie about his lost case and claimed that he was going to find it tonight.

Moving on at WWE Smackdown 26/07/2013, Christian won a match against Jack Swagger after he used his finisher.

Sandow was then in the ring and issued a reward for his case.  Rhodes then came on the big screen with the case after which Sandow chased him outside.

The Match between Fandango and CM Punk on 26/07/2013 went in the favor of CM Punk.

The final segment of the match saw Cody Rhodes having the Briefcase and throwing it into the bay.  The WWE Smackdown went off air with Sandow  yelling for his case and the title shot.  He jumped into the ocean but was quickly out from the corpus christi bay.

The last dark match of the night between Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston went in favor of Ziggler after he planted a finisher on Langston.
