Dancing with the Stars 13/05/2013 - Recap and Review

Dancing with the Stars 13/05/2013 was the Season 16 Semi Final episode. Sean Lowe was the one who was eliminated last week which made up this dance reality competition even more tougher. Read on for the complete Recap, Review and Analysis of the Show that aired on Monday Night.

Dancing with the Stars 13/05/2013 Recap

Looking back at last few episodes of Dancing with the stars (DWTS) it is hard not to think that Ingo will end up in the bottom this week as his performance has been below par when we consider the performances of other superstars. Lets now take a closer look at the performance reviews of each contestants on 13/05/2013.

Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough Recap

Kellie and Derek performed to Argentine Tango. The performance looked much better than their Paso Doble last week and the pressure seemed to be off them as say had set the bar quite high.

Judges Reaction/ Comments

Len Goodman: "That was a mix of pride and joy: pride in technique, joy in performance."

Bruno Tonioli: "I am delighted to say welcome to the world of the sublime!"

Carrie Ann: "It's absurb that you can attain that level of perfection."

Final Score: 10+10+10 = 30

During their second performance of the night they danced flamerico. Derek looked very focus throughout the performance and concentrated well on his footwork. His Rhythm was good throughout.

Judges Reaction/ Comments

Len Goodman: "As far as I'm concerned, you've just booked your place in the final."

Bruno Tonioli: "You tightened up, and Flameco does not stop."

Carrie Ann: "You tightened up, did you feel it?"

Final Score: 9+10+9 = 28

Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson Recap

The first performance of the night for ingo and Kym was the Samba dance form, His samba seemed to be a bit stiff and didn't look too pleasing to the eyes. Despite his hard work i don't think this was one of the best performances by him.

Judges Reaction/ Comments

Bruno Tonioli: "It's like a dog with a bone: I don't give up."

Carrie Ann: "You're the underdog, and you have to step it up a hair more."

Len Goodman: "Through the darkest clouds, occasionally a ray of sunshine breaks through. I'm your ray of sunshine."

Final Score: 8+8+8 = 24

The second performance was Ingo and Kym at Dancing with the Stars 13/05/2013 was the Charleston dance form.While his performance was not bad it didn't look too threatening for the other contestants. It looked as though he created a few of his own moves which was a brave attempt.

Judges Reaction/ Comments

Bruno Tonioli: "Frothy, Bubbling, inebriating, slightly mind bending."

Carrie Ann: "You made us all smile."

Len Goodman: "The Semi-final, good time to do your best dance."

Alexandra Raisman and Mark Ballas Recap

The first performance by Aly and Mark  at the Dancing with the stars 13/05/2013 involved the Rumba dance form which included a bit of a romance, drama and a story. The storyline within the performance was good to see as the performance ended up being on of the most enchanting performance of the night.

Carrie Ann: "Every moment of that story, you drew us all in."

Len goodman: "It had a lovely story and it was told beautifully."

Bruno Tonioli: "You had us all enchanted."

Final Score: 10+10+10 = 30

The second dance form performed by Aly and Mark involved an Afro Jazz performance which is actually a very tough dance to do but they looked to be in Synch throughout the performance.

Judges Reaction/Comments

Carrie Ann: "I don't think people know how hard a dance that was."

Len Goodman: "In perfect Sync, you captured the feeling of the dance."

Bruno Tonioli: "If you don't make it to the final, I'm gonna judge in speedos."

Final Score: 10+9+10 = 29

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff Recap

Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff performed to tango during the first performance which turned out to be quite intense and one of the best performance by Jacoby which left the judges mighty impressed.

Len Goodman: "That's what I'm talking about, mood, intensity!"

Bruno Tonioli: "Best performance ever from you."

Carrie Ann: "Wooooo"

Final scores: 10+10+10 = 30

Their second performance of the Dancing With The Stars 13/05/2013 was the Lindy Hop which was an energetic performance and was filled with action.

Judges Reaction / Comments

Len Goodman: "It was high enery, full on, action-packed."

Bruno Tonioli: "That was frantic frenzy of electricity."

Carrie Ann: "I vote you the number one entertainer season 16."

Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy Recap

The first performance by Zendaya and Val at Dancing with the Stars 13/05/2013 was quickstep. Just like previous weeks, Zendaya continued to impress and dominate the performance which resulted in the judges giving her good reviews.

Judges Reaction/ Comments

Bruno Tonioli: "Did you have rocket fuel for breakfast?"

Carrie Ann: "Uh oh, trouble in paradise. That was kind of a mess."

Len Goodman: "Parts of the dance i felt were fabulous... The speed came in, and the style went out."

Final Scores: 8+8+9 = 25

The final dance performance of the night by Zendaya and Val was a hip hop form which was one of the coolest performances of the night. She had great attitude throughout and the choreography too looked visibly sharp.Tomorrow will be the elimination/ Results episode of the Dancing with the Stars and it will be interesting to see what proceeds and who doesn't, my gut feeling says it might end up being Ingo.
