The Voice 13/05/2013 Recap and Review

The Voice 13/05/2013 saw some superb performances by the 12 contestants who still remain in the hunt for the title but that was not all! In something that i haven't seen for a long time in TV Shows, this particular singing reality competition episode that aired on Monday night was without the Air Conditioner. Read on for the complete Recap and Review of the Show.

This Season has definitely raised the stakes higher but so have the performances by the contestants who are giving it their all to reach one step closer to the title. Lets now take a closer look at the individual performance reviews of each singers.

Team Usher Recap

Vedo was the first participant from team Usher at The Voice 13/05/2013. He performed to the song "Rock With You" by Michael Jackson, Watching him perform it was evident that this guy can sing and dance. It was good to see him perform some of the dance moves of the "Legend" Michael Jackson himself. All the Judges loved the performance. Blake Shelton said that there was not much of a difference to his singing when he danced.

Next up was Josiah Hawley who once again proved to be one of the strong contenders, While singing an acoustic version of "The Man who Can't be Moved" he proved that he possesses a serious threat to the others who are looking to be the next singing voice. As expected all the coaches were impressed with his superb performance.

Michelle Chamuel decided to sing "Call Your Girlfriend" which resulted in Adam saying "I love you!" Usher commented that he adores her and said he was happy that the world gets to experience her.

Team Blake Shelton Recap

Its time for some action from Blake's team. Holly Tucker was the first performer who sang "Broken wing" by Martina McBride. Despite a struggle through the sound she was awared with a standing ovation by her coach. Usher said that anyone who doubted her was an idiot and Shakira said "Gosh Dang, girl!"

The Swon Brothers decided to sing a country song by George Jones at The Voice 13/05/2013. Their performance was not too bad either which proved that we are now very close to a stage where we don't want to see anyone go. Judges were very happy and called this audition on 13/05/2013 a break out moment.

Danielle Bradbury decided to take on "Wasted" by Carrie Underwood to prove a point and she did it in style. Shakira called her "a 16 year old Margaret Thatcher while Adam said "You're the one to beat" to which Blake Agreed and called her an "All American Girl."

Team Shakira Recap

Garrett Gardner was the first to sing from Shakira's team as he decided to go in with "I want it that way" by the backstreet boys. Adam didn't look to pleased with the performance while Blake thought it was a good choice by Shakira. Shakira said his version of the song was "Cool as hell!"

Just as Carson was giving the audience instructions about how to vote, Usher decided to take his shirt off as he was sweating. This was the "woah" moment for his fans.

Sasha Allen  performed to "Alone" by Heart. She blew everyone away with her performance as it was intense, emotional and strong. She achieved a standing ovation from her coach which ended with Adam regretting that he let her go.

Kris Thomas was the next in line as he sang "I'll be there" by Jackson 5. The performance was not too steady but the judges were still impressed with Shakira giving a standing ovation and Adam saying that Mj was so young and struggled to hit those high notes that he nailed! Blake was also impressed while Usher was not too impressed with the performance but praised Thomas for taking a chance.

Team Adam Recap

Sarah Simmons was the first one to perform for Team Adam. She sang the song "The Story" by Brandi Carlile which ended up being one of the most beautiful performances of The Voice 13/05/2013. Blake called her incredible while Coach Adam looked blown away.

Judith Hill decided that she was going to sing a slow version of "You've got a friend." Once again all the judges found the performance worthy  while Adam said "Perhaps the most talented human being in this competition."

Amber Carrington was next up as she chose to sing "I'm gonna love you through it by Martina McBride, She dedicated the song to her mother and showcased the emotions through her singing. Blake told her she did country music and Nashville proud, Usher on the other hand said she "Defied the laws of Gravity." and Adam said he was continually impressed and astonished by week every week.
