This was a very important match for the Royal Challengers Bangalore as they had moved to the fourth spot after losing a string of games away from the comfort of their home turf.Delhi Daredevils on the other hand were trying to regain some pride as they in most cases were out of the playoffs.Lets now take a closer look at the Batting and Bowling performance reviews along with the results of the match.
RCB Batting
When the Royal Challengers Bangalore came into bat they were slow to start with but did quite well towards the mid and end part of the innings to make a massive score.Despite there not being a Gayle Storm tonight,Once again Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers rescued them,They once again proved to be the best highlights of the match as they made a score of 99 and 32 runs respectively.
DD Bowling
The Delhi Daredevils bowling was good during the start and middle part of the innings but they seemed to lose all their steam towards the end of the innings when AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli of the Royal Challengers Bangalore went beserk.The highlights of their bowling was S Nadeem and Irfan Pathan who picked up a wicket each.Umesh Yadav and others were very expensive.
DD Batting
The same sad story for the Delhi Daredevils started once again as they lost a couple of early wickets.Once again Mahela Jayawardene,Virender Sehwag and David Warner showed some class but left the team when they needed them the most.However a partnership between Unmukt Chand and Ben Rohrer got them right back into the match but after their wickets fell it was tough for them.Towards the end Irfan Pathan and Morne Morkel did well to take the match close but they just couldn't cross the line once again as the Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 4 Runs.
RCB Bowling
Royal Challengers Bangalore bowling was up to the mark throughout as they ensured that the Delhi Daredevils didn't run away with the match and bowled the right line and length with the highlights of their bowling being Jaydev Undadkat who picked up 5 vital wickets and gave away very few runs.
