WWE Extreme Rules 19/05/2013 Results and Review

Chris Jericho Vs Fandango

The first match of the night was set between Chris Jericho and Fandango. Their feud had been brewing since Wrestlemania 29 which led to both of the wwe superstars having a lot of faceoffs through the last few weeks,  Chris Jericho who had been attacked several times from behind was looking to exact some revenge through this match and his fans will be happy to know he came out on top.

Despite Fandango trying to take momentum on his side through a kick on back of Jericho's head he got caught into Jericho's "Codebreaker" when he was trying to make his move through the top rope which resulted in the "Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla" cruising towards an easy win.

A backstage segment saw Sheamus being interviewed by Josh Matthews.  Sheamus was asked how he would be able to drag Mark Henry around the ring to win the match to which he replied by saying that everyone will see what happens when the Celtic Warrior goes extreme.

WWE United States Championship: Dean Ambrose Vs Kofi Kingston

The next  match was set to take place between Dean Ambrose and Kofi Kingston for the United states championship.  In another expected push to the Shield, the match eventually ended in favor of Ambrose after he ducked to a trouble in paradise and dropped Kofi in his face to win the championship.

Post match, Ambrose celebrated with Reigns and Rollins.

Strap Match: Sheamus Vs Mark Henry

This was a match many were waiting for.  There were not many rules in the match but it looked as though Mark Henry had the edge considering that he was the worlds strongest man.  I must Admit both the superstars did quite well throughout the match but the WWE'S Celtic warrior as he promised earlier went extreme as he won the match through an intense brawl throughout which eventually ended with Sheamus blocking a world's strongest slam and nailing  a brogue kick to hit the fourth corner to get the results in his favor.

#1 Contender's I Quit Match: Jack Swagger Vs Alberto Del Rio

Despite Jack Swagger along with Zeb Colter week after week speaking about the greatness of America the way they expressed themselves ended with them getting a lot of heat via the WWE Universe.  In something that the World Wrestling Entertainment fans might not like to hear Jack Swagger came out on top After a bit of a confusion towards the end of the match.

What actually happened was that towards the end of the match Del Rio asked Ricardo not to throw the towel in, Colter interfered and threw a towel inside the ring which ended up looking as through ricardo had threw it in which ended with the results going Swaggers way.  Unexpected but accept it Jack Swagger is here to stay!

But hold on the match was not over yet.  Another referee came through towards the ring and explained what happened.  The match was restarted after which Del Rio nailed a  superkick to the arm.  Del Rio eventually managed to lock the cross arm breaker as Swagger finally ended up Quitting as the results went in Del Rio's direction. Justice finally served!

In a Backstage segment on 19/05/2013, Ryback was seen speaking to Cena.  He told that Cena was a liar and wont get up tonight because he wont let him. He further said He rules tonight.

Tornado Tag Team Title Match: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns Vs. Kane and Daniel Bryan

The next match on 19/05/2013 featured a Tornado Tag between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns against Daniel Bryan and Kane.  This match ended with the Shield winning the tag team championship courtesy of a big double team move on Daniel Bryan.

The Shield had a great night considering Ambrose coming on top earlier and his partners winning the tag team championship.

After the match, Dean Ambrose came out to celebrate as the Shield posed with the Tag Team championship and the united states title.

Extreme Rules Match: Big Show Vs Randy Orton

Next up at Extreme Rules 19/05/2013 was an extreme rules match scheduled between Big Show and Randy Orton.  After their fallout at Wrestlemania this was another classic in the making.  Orton eventually managed to cover Show after he nailed a punt.  The match as expected saw a lot of back and forth before Orton eventually came out on top.

Last Man Standing for WWE Championship: Ryback Vs John Cena

One of the best matches of the night on 19/05/2013 was scheduled to be inbetween Ryback and John Cena in a last man standing match.  Ryback has totally turned from a nice guy he earlier was which made this match even more intense.  The results of the match eventually ended in no one's favor as Ryback was taken to the back by a referee and John Cena was loaded on a stretcher before being carried out.

Steel Cage Match: Triple H Vs Brock Lesnar

The feud between Triple H and Brock Lesnar has been going back and forth from a long time and this steel cage match on 19/05/2013 was hopefully about to end it all.  Over the last few weeks Brock Lesnar tried his best to get under the skin of Triple H after he tore apart the WWE headquarters.

The results of the match ended in favor of Brock Lesnar after he grabbed a sledgehammer off triple h and nailed him in the jaw with it.  After this Lesnar nailed a F5 to cover win for a pinfall victory.

After the match Lesnar laid the Sledgehammer on top of triple h's chest after which Triple H limped to the back as the pay per view on 19/05/2013 went off air.
