WWE Main Event 01/05/2013 - Results,Review and Analysis

WWE Main event 01/05/2013 focused on Kofi Kingston's United States Championship as he defended the title against the former owner Antonio Cesaro.Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater also faced off against each other.Lets now take a closer look at the Results,Review and analysis of this World Wrestling Entertainment show that aired on Thursday Night.

WWE Main Event 01/05/2013 - Results,Review and Analysis

The show started with a recap of Kofi Kingston winning the United States Championship after which a backstage segment showed Matt Striker Interviewing Antonio Cesaro who claimed that Kingston had taken away everything from him and how he is going to get everything back.

Kingston's High flying moves and Cesaro's power moves were the highlights of this match as they both looked evenly matched.Kofi as always looked very agile throughout the match.It eventually took a trouble in paradise for Kofi to seal the deal as he successfully defended  his championship.

After the match Matt Striker went towards the ring to interview Kingston who confessed that 2013 started as a rough year for him but got good when he won the US title and got real good when he and his wife had a baby.

A few snippets from last Week's Raw were then played on the Titantron following which Antonio Cesaro pinned Kingston to the ground and  ripped out  a bit of Kingston's hair.

Justin Gabriel Vs Heath Slater

The next match was scheduled to be between Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater.Slater came out with the other members of 3MB who were expected to get involved at some point during the match.Gabriel is known for his high risk moves and his match against Slater included nothing less especially when he planted a suicide dive on Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal outside the ring.

Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal were eventually ejected from ringside by the referee after which the match finally became fair before it eventually ended with Gabriel winning after planting a 450 splash to get the pin as the show went off air.
