WWE Smackdown 07/06/2013 - Results, Review and Analysis

WWE Smackdown on 07/06/2013 (Taped on Tuesday Night) had its focus set on the upcoming Pay Per view 'Payback.'  While most of the matches for the upcoming PPV were either confirmed or hinted, through this week's Smackdown, wwe were busy laying down the finishing touches to the main feuds.  Read on for the complete WWE Smackdown 07/06/2013 Results along with the performance reviews of the matches and analysis of the show that airs on Friday Night.

Whose the Weakest Link?

WWE's Friday Night episode kicked off with the Miz TV which featured Daniel Bryan and Kane as the Special Guests, The segment once again resulted in an argument between Team Hell No whether Bryan was the weak link after which Kane looked pissed off and left.  If you remember watching Raw, there was a huge argument between Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and Kane regarding the same.  This might well be an indication that Team Hell No might eventually break up and Bryan might end up being a Heel.  I would rather like to see Team Hell No together with a proper push as they were very good with the comic skits they were involved in.

CM Punk Plays Mind Games with the 'Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla'

A match was scheduled to take place between Chris Jericho and Curtis Axel at WWE Smackdown 07/06/2013, in the midst of the match CM Punk's music hit which ended up distracting Jericho after which he was pinned by Axel.  The results of the match didn't matter to Y2J as he got the upper hand after he planted a code breaker on Axel after the match.  

CM Punk-Chris Jericho is one of the matches i am looking forward to at WWE Payback, CM Punk has not been around for a few weeks now which makes it even more interesting.  Who will get the upper hand?  

Well, We will just need to wait and find out!

Moving on, A backstage segment showed Tons of Funk commenting on how weird the Wyatt Family Seemed. 

Dolph Ziggler to Return Monday Night! 

The results of the match scheduled between Alberto Del Rio and Heath Slater on 07/06/2013 ended in a no contest as Del Rio was attacked by 3MB.  Del Rio and Ricardo managed to clear them out after which Ziggler appeared on the titan tron and claimed he was cleared to wrestle and will return on Monday Night Raw.  Nice build up to something that might end up transpiring into nothing but still looking forward to it!

Damien Sandow's Intellectual Challenge to Sheamus

More than wrestling, Damien Sandow these days is busy issuing challenges to Sheamus.  On Friday Night Smackdown that aired on 07/06/2013, Sandow decided to issue an intellectual challenge to the Celtic Warrior.  The challenge had a computer which was eventually kicked by Sheamus after which he was attacked by Sandow.  If i was at the arena, i would have definitely chanted "You can't wrestle" (For Sandow of course.)

Kaitlyn's Secret Admirer to be revealed at Raw?

Finally sanity will prevail on Monday Night when we finally get to know who the hell Kaityln's secret admirer actually is.  If you guys have been following Monday Night's for the past few weeks, Kaitlyn has been getting a lot of gifts, appreciations and texts from someone who seems to have taken a liking towards her.  At smackdown it was finally revealed that Monday Night will be the day where she gets to know who the person actually is.

And...Daniel Bryan's Misery continues...

A match scheduled between Bryan and Orton against The Shield ended on a very bad note for Bryan.  Despite the results going in Bryan and Orton's favor as they won by match Via DQ, during the mid part of the match Bryan nailed Orton accidentally and as we know the viper, he was not going to let bygones be bygones.  After the match was Over Randy Orton Planted his own RKO on Bryan to make things even.
