Australia Vs England 19/07/2013 - 2nd Ashes Test - Scorecard, Review and Statistical Highlights
The Day 2 of the second ashes test match between Australia and England on 19/07/2013 kicked off with England at a score of 289/7. Despite the Aussies picking up an early wicket during the start, they had to slog real hard to pick up the last two wickets. Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann who made a score of 33 and 28 respectively did quite well to help Eng reach a score of 361 before being bowled out and as far the Aus Bowling was concerned Ryan Harris and Steven Smith were the best highlights as they picked up 5 and 3 wickets respectively.
When Australia came into bat on 19/07/2013, they once again failed miserably as they ended their first innings batting at a score of just 128 which gave Eng a massive lead and put them right in the driving seat to go for the kill and win this match as well. The best highlights of Eng bowling was Graeme Swann who picked up 5 wickets.
England's second innings batting on 19/07/2013 was not that impressive as they lost 3 wickets for 31 runs in 20 overs before close of play. In any case this shouldn't matter them much as they are already leading by a score of 264 runs with 7 wickets still remaining. The best highlights of Aussie bowling in the second innings was Peter Siddle who picked up all the 3 wickets.
The outcome of the match at this stage look to be massively in favor of the Englishmen thanks to a poor batting display by Australia. Check out the Australia Vs England - 2nd Ashes Test Scorecard Below.
