WWE Smackdown 12/07/2013 - Results, Review and Analysis

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 12/07/2013 that was taped on Tuesday Night was the final show before the World Wrestling Entertainment's Money in the bank Pay Per View that is scheduled to take place on Sunday.  While the feature the show revolved around what can be expected out of the upcoming PPV, the show also featured a few interesting wrestling matches.  Read on for the complete WWE Smackdown 12/07/2013 Results along with a review and Analysis of the show.

The episode kicked off with JBL and Michael Cole in the Commentary with the Briefcase hanging high above the ring to get the atmosphere set right for the upcoming Pay Per View.

The first match of the night saw Daniel Bryan facing off against Christian.  While both the superstars gave it their all, Bryan eventually managed to implement a Yes lock on Christian to win via submission towards the end.
Wrestling

A Backstage segment revealed that Teddy Long had given Dolph Ziggler a night off while Ziggler told him that he wanted to be the next world heavyweight champion.

Next match at WWE Smackdown 12/07/2013 saw Jey Uso face seth Rollins.  Seth won the match comfortably towards the end with a knee to the back of Jey Uso as The Shield celebrated the results on the announcers table.

Chris Jericho defeated Curtis Axel via countout after Axel took a codebreaker on the ropes.  Axel was visibly upset with the defeat and tore apart the announcers table as Paul Heyman asked him to relax.

In the next match of the night, Ryback faked a knee injury after which he hit a meathook clothesline on The Miz to win the match.

Sheamus was present backstage as he claimed he would be the next no.1 contender after the upcoming pay per view and will then be three time world champion.

Next segment saw Teddy Long coming to the ring for a contract signing.  Cameron, Naomi, Aksana, Layla, Alicia Fox and Natalya were all present alongside.  Big E Langston then made an entrance along with AJ Lee after which Kaitlyn eventually arrived. 

AJ revealed about the texts from Kaitlyn trash talking about Natalya and The Great Khali.  This led to a fight between the ladies after which Kaitlyn slapped Big E and speared AJ.

Next up was Fandango Vs Wade Barrett.  Zeb Colter was on commentary and he had Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro alongside.  Fandango won the match in the end.

The surprise of the night was a match between Aberto Del Rio and Sin Cara which never started as Dolph Ziggler came out dressed as Sin Cara and attacked Del Rio.

Vickie Guerrero then came out to the Smackdown ring on 12/07/2013 after which Teddy Long interrupted her short arrival and got the security take her out of the building.

A backstage segment involved Teddy Long stopping Dolph Ziggler but it was eventually shown that Sin Cara was actually wearing his wrestling attire and he might have been the one who attacked Del Rio.

The results of the Sheamus Vs Randy Orton match ended in a Disqualification after Daniel Bryan interrupted.  Chrisitan then came out and setup a ladder in the center of the ring after which Christian and Sheamus brawled in between the ladder.  Orton RKO'd Bryan and climbed the ladder to retrieve the briefcase.  WWE's friday night show went off air with Orton standing on top of the ladder.
