Outlast Release date has been revealed

The Release date of the Horror Survival game that goes by the name of 'Outlast' has been announced.  As of now the developers have confirmed that the game will be launching on September 4th 2013 and will be available via steam for $20 for PC.  No details about the Outlast Release date for PlayStation 4 has been announced at the moment.
Outlast

The developers have also confirmed that the game will feature the town of Colorado and will focus on the journalist named Miles Upshur who breaks into an asylum to find out the reason behind its reopening by a branch of a transnational corporation.

As of now the game is set to launch for PlayStation 4 and PC and i am not sure if it will eventually end up releasing for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and WII U as well.  It's good if it does but if it doesn't it will be a huge disappointment for gamers who own the respective consoles as most of the games which are not by a particular console company in most cases end up releasing for all.

Lastly, With the release date of so many games of different genres set, its nice to finally see a horror survival game making it to the shelves.  Although the System requirements of the game have not yet been revealed, You can watch the trailer of the game here.

What are your thoughts about the Outlast Release date?

Bid Adjustment Reporting in Google Analytics

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

Our constantly connected world presents a great opportunity for marketers to be more effective and relevant to customers by optimizing for context -- device, location and time. Earlier this year, we launched enhanced campaigns to help advertisers take advantage of these new opportunities and manage their ad campaigns more effectively. Bid adjustments make it easy to raise or lower your bids based on user context.

To help you optimize your bid adjustments, we're introducing bid adjustment reporting in Google Analytics, allowing you to analyze performance for each of your bid adjustments across devices, locations, and time of day. You can access the new report by going to Traffic Sources > Advertising >AdWords and clicking the Bid Adjustments link.

With the new Bid Adjustments report, you can take advantage of the full range of visitor metrics available in Google Analytics to optimize your bid adjustments. This provides a window into your users’ behavior, allowing you to optimize bid adjustments based on behavior & goal conversion data like bounce rate and time-on-site.

In addition, with Ecommerce tracking enabled in GA, you can now use this data to fine-tune your bid adjustments in AdWords based on the actual revenue generated, instead of conversions. This means you can optimize for ROI instead of CPA goals.

A quick example illustrates this (illustrated in the above screenshot). Imagine a hotel chain has set Time bid adjustments of +20% on Saturday and Sunday after observing a better ROI on those days. Using this new report in GA, the hotel chain now observes that their ROI on Sundays is actually higher than on other days of the week. The hotel chain's analyst finds that customers book more expensive rooms and longer stays on Sundays. Using this information, the hotel chain increases its existing Time bid adjustment for Sundays.

This new bid adjustment report is available in all Analytics accounts that are linked to AdWords. We recently made it much easier to link your accounts, so now is a great time to do so if you haven’t already.

India Vs Zimbabwe 24/07/2013 - Results and Review

India Vs Zimbabwe 24/07/2013 - Results, Review and Statistical Highlights

The first ODI Cricket match of the Celkon Mobile cup between India and Zimbabwe held on 24/07/2013 kicked off with Ind winning the toss and electing to bowl first.  It was a good decision considering the pitch initially was expected to be tough to bat on but was expected to get better during the course of the day.  Read on for the complete India Vs Zimbabwe 24/07/2013 Results along with the batting and bowling performance review and the Statistical highlights of the match as it happened today.

Statistical Highlights

CricketZim's batting kicked off quite well with both their openers (Vusi Sibanda and Sikandar Raza) applying themselves and giving them a very good opening stand of 72 Runs.  Their run rate however was too slow throughout the innings which resulted in them getting very less runs in comparision to what they should have actually got to try and end the results in their favor.  The best highlights of their batting was Raza who made a score of 82 Runs, Elton Chigumbura did quite well towards the end of their innings scoring 43 (34) to help them really push their target towards the score of 228 which didn't look too challenging for Ind.  As far as Ind's bowling was concerned Amit Mishra did quite well picking up 3 wickets.

Ind's batting had a stuttery start as they lost their openers relatively early.  Virat Kohli and Ambati Rayudu's partnership however ensured that the win didn't slip away from them as they made a score of 115 and 63 Not Out respectively.  Kohli was undoubtedly the best highlights of their batting after making a century while Prosper Utseya was the best bowler for Zim as he was pretty confident to pick up 2 wickets and was pretty economical.  Have a look at the complete India Vs Zimbabwe 24/07/2013 Results (Scorecard) of how each the players fared below.

America's got Talent 23/07/2013 - Recap, Review and Analysis

The Season 8, Episode 10 of America's got Talent that aired on Tuesday Night (23/07/2013) was the first show that took place at the Radio City Hall.  Last night saw a few of the most amazing performances by contestants who were looking to reach one step closer to the crown.  Read on for the complete America's got Talent 23/07/2013 Recap along with the performance review of the contestants and analysis of the show.

Note: Spoilers below.

The first contestant at AGT on 23/07/2013 was the 11 Year old Anna Christine who was a singer.  Her performance was good but not that great.  The judges however thought otherwise as Mel B claimed she loved the performance despite the timing mistake, Howie said that he hoped that people took age into consideration before voting while Howard claimed Anna to be a rare talent despite her age.  Lastly Heidi said, Anna was full of courage and hoped America votes for her as she was one of the best talent find.
TV

Tellavision who are a dance group which included a few videos and lights gave another decent performance with Howie saying that he was amazed with the performance while Howard didn't enjoy it much and claimed the group needed to step things up.  Heidi agreed with Howard while Mel B said she agreed with Howie that the performance was indeed good.

The Musical Group of American Hitmen were the next to perform at America's got Talent 23/07/2013.  They performed to a few songs that were pretty good.  Howard said he enjoyed the performance but it was not fantastic and also said he wouldn't want them to move forward in the competition.  Heidi said that their performance was better in comparision to the last one while Mel B said that she disagreed with Heidi and Howard and claimed the performance to be great.

Special Head who specialized with levitation was one of the best performances of the night on 23/07/2013.  This time he was floating and then all of a sudden he disappeared.  Heidi said that the performance will definitely stick in the heads of people but claimed she didn't love the performance.  Mel B said that the first few times she was surprised and shocked but this time she found the performance as funny.  Howie and Howard agreed that the performance was not that great.

Fresh Faces who were a dance troupe of the ages in between 9 and 10 were awesome and their moves were fantastic throughout.  Mel B said she loved the performance, Howie thought it was good but also claimed it to be an amazing dance recital.  Howard said their performance was sweet and cute but not enough while Heidi said that America's got talent is all about contestants such as these.

The Magician Collin Keys was amazing as well.  His trick today involved in him getting the Judges to spit out some random words which ended up in the locked box in the ceiling. How did he do it? Only he knows!  Howard and Howie said that they enjoyed the performance and claimed that Collins did quite well while Heidi said she had no idea how he did it and told him that he was good while Mel B said that he was not only amazing but a nice guy who was very likeable.

The Stand Up Comedian Kevin Downey Jr. was next up at America's got talent 23/07/2013.  His Jokes looked to be a little overdone as he wasn't very impressive.  Howard claimed that he was the real deal and asked America to vote for him.  Heidi didn't love the performance while Mel B said she was a bit confused about their performance.

Moving on with the America's Got Talent 23/07/2013 Recap, Aaralyn and Izzy who were a musical group of a little boy and a younger sister who play drum and screams bloody murder in microphone respectively.  Howard said that the kids were cute but claimed that this was America's got talent and it was about time they stop this nonsense.  Mel B agreed while Heidi said that it was a bit bizarre with Aaralyn scaring everyone a little bit.

Escape Artist Alexandria The Great did the same trick that she did during the audition with the only difference being she being locked in a small see through box.  She eventually made it out after which Mel B said she was glad that Alexandria was but didn't seem to love the performance.  Howie was thrilled to watch the performance live.  A hilarious comment by Howard suggested Heidi and Mel B to wear swimsuits at the show and as far as the performance was concerned he said that Houdini would be very proud of her as she did a great job.

KriStef Brothers who were into Hand Balancing were wearing Women's leotards and it was quite amazing to see how strong their balancing was.  Howie claimed it to be the best performance of the night to which Howard agreed.  Heidi claimed that the leotards were not their size but they both looked hot and Mel B said she loved the glitter.

The Next part of the episode on 23/07/2013 saw the dance group named Hyde giving a cool dance performance.  Heidi said they were not as good as their audition while Mel B said that they were talented dancers but their routine didn't get them anywhere.  Howard and Howie didn't love their performance either.

The last act of the night at AGT was Brendan James who was a singer.  He sang a song by Josh Groban which impressed everyone.  Mel B said it was like saving grace when he sang while Howie said in this contest he had won more than 1 million dollars as he had won his family's acceptance.  Howard claimed Brendan took command on the stage like a pro. That's it for my recap.  Hope you enjoyed it.

Sri Lanka Vs South Africa 23/07/2013 - Results, Review and Statistical Highlights

The 2nd match of the Dialog series between Sri Lanka and South Africa on 23/07/2013 kicked off with SL winning the toss and electing to bat first.  AB De Villiers confirmed that he would have liked bowling first in either case. After losing the first match, The Proteas were looking to regain the momentum through this match as they needed a win badly to really try and win the series.  Read on for the Sri Lanka Vs South Africa 23/07/2013 Results along with the batting and bowling performance review, Scorecard and the Statistical Highlights of the match.

CricketIn a match that was affected by Rain, The Lankan batting was nothing compared to the first match as during their innings today they lost wickets in a cluster which prevented them from gaining any momentum throughout their innings.  Their best batsmen on 23/07/2013 was Tillakaratne Dilshan and Dinesh Chandimal who both made a score of 43 runs.  As far as SA's bowling was concerned, the best highlights of their bowling was Morne Morkel who picked up 3 wickets as the results looked to be in favor of the proteas.

Before SA came out to bat, the match was interrupted by rain which reduced their target to a score of 176 in 29 overs.  Just like their previous match SA kept losing regular wickets today as well which made it almost impossible for them to even get close to the target.  Unfortunately for them, they fell even short of the D/L score required as the results ended in them losing the match with their best batsmen being Alviro Peterson who made a score of 24 runs.  The best highlights of SL bowling was Rangana Herath who picked up 2 wickets to help them win by 17 runs as per D/L.
